These Are the Days We Will Remember Forever!!

Jersey is officially a big girl, sleeping on a big girl bed (actually a mattress on the floor!!) She, Elmo, and the babies are all ready to give up the crib to new baby Lauer! We have been SOO lucky that she stays in bed and doesn't come out!

Scout and Jersey have been on this cleaning frenzy! I am NOT complaining! And the best part of it all is that they are both REALLY good at it!

Jersey has been working on her reading skills! I usually get to read to her every night before bed, but not lately. She insists on reading to Jason, Scout, and I!

She does s good remembering to show us all the pictures. But she has also discovered the word, "poop" and seems to think it is funny when she add it into her stories. Good thing big brother Scout is there to remind her that "poop" is a bathroom word. Well... o.k. he laughs more than reminds.

The best part is her laugh - she laughs the SAME way Scout does! I wonder if baby #3 will come out laughing the same way

Fun in the Snow!!

Our first snow slush! Let's just say red juice all over!!One piece of advice - check the snow first to be sure that there are no sticks in it!!

SNOW DAY

Up at 6:10 with both kids COST - loss of sleep
Outside for 1 hour right away in P.J.s COST - cold
Play Dough in the snow boots worn inside the house COST - one good vacuum job!
Baking about 70 cut out cookies COST - too much time!!
A FEW MINOR INJURIES
Jersey fell off the stool and ended up with a bloody mouth COST - tears
I zipped Jersey's belly skin in her p.j.'s by accident COST - more tears
Outside again for another 30 minutes to play COST - 2 freezing kids and one freezing mom
Lunch at 11:30 COST - a trip to the grocery store

Finally one kid down for a nap COST - still one very tired mom

Staying home with my kids for a snow day........................................ PRICELESS

Some may paint a pretty picture of trying to be a super mom - I paint an honest one!!!

JINGLE BELLS!!

We decided to purchase an artificial tree this year! Let's just say that this tree is REALLY huge!! I love it and so do the kids.
Jason had to pull out the Little Giant ladder to put it together and to decorate it! It was at that time that he found 3 more artificial trees in our basement. I think that we will only put out 2 this year (not including all of the little ones that are randomly placed throughout the house).

We can't wait until Christmas (and now I need to stop typing b/c I am getting kicked so hard by the baby that the computer is moving!!

Basketball

Scout and Ramsey LOVE playing basketball every Wednesday! How fun that we get to go back to the "Sussex Teen Center" to watch them both! I will tell you that the 45 minutes goes really fast! We hope that Ramsey had fun tonight - Scout was home sick AGAIN today so we couldn't go :(

Jersey has been fun lately as well. She is learning more words and has been doing more sassy things (looking out of the corner of her eyes, rolling her eyes at us, hitting anyone of us and running as fast as she can to get away). The list goes on and on! The big two year old party comes December 13th! WOW how fast times goes.

She is what I will call OFFICIALLY potty trained! She has been in underwear during the day the past 2 months and has only had minimal accidents! This week I have sent her to bed in underwear and she has been good to go (now watch I jinked myself!) Someone is looking out for me with the new baby coming in February!
